Since 1972 Arnold Smith Insurance has been proud to provide quality insurance solutions to Washington state.  Since our inception we’ve continued to grow and we’ve had the pleasure of serving a growing community of individuals, families, and businesses in Mason, Kitsap, and Thurston counties as well as throughout the state.

At the center of our business model is customer service:

It’s the key to developing functional, long-lasting relationships with clients.  It’s also how we ensure that clients are happy.   Another way we keep our clients happy is by offering sound insurance products.  These products protect when and what they need to protect and they grow as our clients’ needs grow.  We’re proud of our product offerings because they help us achieve our goals of keeping our clients secure and providing clients with value.

How do we deliver insurance products? 

We use top insurance carriers and we carefully select each individual coverage option for each policy.  This ensures accuracy and overall adaptability.  Some of the providers we work with include Mutual of Enumclaw, Safeco, Progressive, Allied, and Nationwide.  We are also apart of PIA, The Professional Insurance Agents Western Alliance, which is an insurance association that we partner with to ensure our agents are up to date with current regulations.

Due to a wide variety of product offerings we are able to serve most personal and commercial insurance needs.  Our specialties include auto, home, and RV coverage. We also specialize in Business Property & Casualty insurance and Health and Life insurance for groups and individuals. 

Our approach to underwriting includes a mix of assigning the right coverages to a client’s needs while adhering to the client’s budget.  It also means getting to know clients as well as possible.  We get to know clients by carrying on long-term relationships and focusing on two-way communication.  Discussions and exchanges of information help make clients comfortable and they make it easy for clients to come to us with questions, concerns, and feedback. 

How do we ensure that we contribute to the community?

Providing quality insurance products and first-rate services keep residents of the communities we serve financially sound and ultimately prosperous.  That is our surest way of contributing to the communities around us.  Another way we contribute, however, is through participation in community events.  

We support fundraising events as frequently as we can.

Our staff also participates in events throughout the year, including the Mason General Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament, Mason General Hospital Foundation Fantasy Forest, and the Shelton Mason County Annual Gala and Golf Tournament.  We also attend Oysterfest and the ‘Taste of Hood Canal.’  We’re constantly looking for new ways to participate in our communities and to give back to them.
